I just completed at less than fun trip to Tuscany and subsequent cruise that I booked with Legendary Journeys. They trip was TERRIBLE and they cancelled and changed the itenary as THEY saw fit, witihout offering me the option of cancelling, and, with their "once paid for - no refund" policy, no refund was offered for all but one of the cancellations. I paid 'extra' for a 'close in' room in Rome that I got no benefit from. Because of their itenary change, I was forced to give up the day I had planned on Rome on my own to take one of the side trips I had booked for a later date....no offer of refund on the extra room expense or to cancel the side trip they had moved. They later cancelled two more side trips (they did offer a refund on one, but not the second.) I will NEVER travel with them again and would hope anyone reading this would seriously consider not doing the same, lest you regret your decision. There is simply no excuse for their poor planning and oversight. SERIOUS CAUTION - If you ignore this and book anyway DO NOT book any side trips with them. You can do better booking on your own with a local guide and will get much better service. 35b3cb0

I was on the same trip. I did get a refund of my side tour to Sienna. I cashed that check RIGHT AWAY! 

The Royal Palace Hotel they chose in Montecontini was not a 4 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. It was a tourist class hotel with disgusting dinners. 

The Legendary Journey hostesses were actually demeaning in their attitudes toward clients.  

No, I would never use Legendary Journeys again and would recommend them to no one.

We were on the same trip. We paid for it in May and received the detailed itinerary a week before departure. Their flyer said 3 days in Rome, we got 47hrs! The one full day we had was Nov 1;the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, and Pantheon were closed for All Saints Day. Legendary Journeys wasn't aware of, or ignored this holiday.
