BEWARE IF YOU WANT TO BE A LEADER FOR TRIPS FOR LEGENDARY JOURNEYS.A contract between Legendary Journeys and me was written in Jan.

2014, where one free compensation for every 16 people was earned. The group of 72 went to Costa Rica. We traveled successfully from Jan. 27, 2015 to Feb.

3, 2015. The compensation earned is $3,596. We all paid our trip in full by Oct. 2014, the trip from Jan.

27- Feb. 3, 2015. Three weeks later there is no check forthcoming. The approval by Al Ferguson, Pres.

after all this time has not been given.

You would think the company would want to keep high producing leaders, but, no positive response has been given.BEWARE IF YOU BECOME A LEADER, YOU PAY ALL UP FRONT AND THEY DELAY OR DON'T COMPLETE THEIR END OF THE AGREEMENT.

Reviewer is in unhappy mood. Please immediately contact the author of this review to discuss problems with payment of labor compensation and associated monetary loss in the amount of $3559. Legendary Journeys needs to issue a full refund according to poster's claims.

Thank you for posting your concerns and giving Legendary Journeys the opportunity to respond.In this instance, the client was a Group Leader with Legendary Journeys.

Our Group Leader Program is one of the best in the industry, giving our group leaders the opportunity to earn money or raise money for their organization through getting friends and family signed up within their group. In this instance this Group leader did bring 72 guests on our Costa Rica Trip and as such was due Group Leader Compensation in the amount of $3596, as this group leader stated in the online posting.

Legendary Journeys feels that the clients expectation of a 0-3 week reimbursement from the date they return home is a slightly unreasonable expectation and Legendary Journeys typically processes these payments within 4-6 weeks after the clients return home. In this specific instance, Legendary Journeys had this Group Leader's compensation ready to send to her by the 15th of February, however that is also when we learned they filed an official complaint with the Department of Agriculture Division of Consumer Affairs.

At that moment, Legendary Journeys had no other choice but to place a hold on this Group Leader Compensation until this official complaint was resolved through the governing agency this group leader chose to air their grievances. The Resolution took place at the end of March, and as such Legendary Journeys paid this group leader their compensation on March 31st,...

This situation has caused Legendary Journeys to look into the verbiages in our Group Leader Compensation.

We have since made corrections to these verbiages to make the group leader compensation payment process more clear.

why would they contact the bbb? they were paid via check a couple months after departure. ?
